InFilm to Miss: Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2012)

Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2012)

Mini is a free-spirited girl who does not want to stay in her arranged marriage, so she stages her own kidnapping, pinning it on one of her father's rickshaw drivers. Viren had just put his life savings in the back of one of the rickshaws when Mini's father sells them for upgrades, so Viren sticks with the plan and returns Mini after her father pays her ransom. Along the way the two fall in love.

*This wasn't bad, it just didn't stick with me as memorable, or something that I'd want to own.*

KFiilm to Watch: Project Makeover (2007)

Project Makeover (2007)

Jung-ju is granted a wish to go back in time and try to undo her first love - he dumped her soon after sleeping with her. Jung-ju also wants a chance to change her past because she finds out another boy from high school who was interested in her is now a successful millionaire. Once in the past, she pretends to be her cousin Alice and teams up with Tae-hoon, the nerdy boy who loved her in high school. Will she still end up with her first love, Hani, or will she manage to rewrite her past and end up with the successful guy?

*Might watch again. Not enough kissing. Cool idea, though, and cute characters.*

KDrama to Watch: My Girlfriend is a Gumiho [Nine-Tailed Fox] (2010)

My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho[Nine-Tailed Fox] (2010)

Grade: B+

16 Episodes

Cha Dae Woong is a college student who wants to one day be an action star. While visiting an old shrine, he accidentally releases a fox demon from an enchanted painting. He takes a fatal fall, but the gumiho takes pity on him and gives him her “fox bead,” a magical object that keeps him alive long enough for his body to heal. The bead is also the means whereby she can become human, so she sticks close and they strike up a deal: he will keep her bead for one hundred days and then return it to her so she can become human. He feeds her all the meat she wants, names her Mi Ho, and they start to have feelings for each other. What they don't know is the cost of this deal: Dae Woong's life.

*I didn't write this review until months after watching this; I think I liked it, especially the nine-tailed fox lore (think Naruto), and it's definitely one of the more original dramas (gotta love that supernatural touch). From what I remember, I'd watch it again.*
