InFilm to Watch: Pyaar Impossible (2010)

Pyaar Impossible (2010)

Geeky Abhay falls in love with a beautiful girl at college, Alisha, who gets drunk one night and falls in a lake on campus. Abhay jumps in and saves her, but she leaves to go back home before she can thank him. Fast forward - Abhay is about to sell the software he's spent the last seven years developing, all the while still in love with Alisha, when the buyer, Varun, steals his data. Abhay follows Varun to Singapore where he runs into Alisha. She now works and lives with her daughter in Singapore and sets up the deal between her company and Varun to buy the software. Alisha confuses Abhay with a last minute nanny replacement, and in order to get closer to Alisha and Varun he watches her daughter. Only drawback: no kissing!

*Loved Abhay's geeky character! Fun music, cute story, cute characters, will watch (and have watched) again.*

KFilm to Watch: My Tutor Friend 2 (2007)

My Tutor Friend 2 (2007)

A Japanese girl, Junko, goes to Korea as a foreign exchange student to pursue a guy she likes. She ends up boarding at a house with an obnoxious young man, Jong-man (the caretaker's son) and asks for him to teach her Korean. Jong-man teases Junko and teaches her impolite slang to embarrass her. They end up falling for each other, but they NEVER KISS. The actor who plays Jong-man is quite animated and has excellent comedic expressions.

*Might watch again. Pretty cute characters and a fun story.*

KDrama to Watch: Full House (2004)

Full House (2004)

Grade: B-

16 Episodes

Aspiring writer Han Ji-eun is tricked one day by her friends who give her a free one-way ticket to China. While she is gone, the friends sell her house (to pay for their baby), and she has to rely on the movie star Lee Young-jae for help, after barfing on him on the plane ride over. Reluctantly, he lends her money for the trip home, then ends up buying her house back, and makes her work as his maid, since she has nowhere else to go. While at an event, Young-jae grabs Ji-eun and professes his love for her, in front of his true love, Hye-won, and they enter a contractual marriage. Eventually they fall for each other, but it is painful to watch at times, with how dense Young-jae's character is about the whole situation.

*Not my favorite of the dramas, but they do kiss, and it was cute and entertaining. Might watch again.*
